Here at Snug Woodwork, we believe in creating a healthier workplace where the products we fabricate will be safe for both the maker and the consumer.

As traditional plywood uses strong adhesive in the manufacturing process to bond the layers of wood together, the prolonged exposure to high levels of formaldehyde can cause health problems to furniture makers as well as the end user.

Therefore, at Snug Woodwork, we use plywood with significantly lower formaldehyde emissions than those from traditional plywood boards.
Low formaldehyde plywood boards are also sometimes referred to as “E0” or “E1” boards, depending on their formaldehyde emission levels.
